I don’t want to get sued if someone twists an ankle which happens in sports.

My suggestion to you would be to spend a few dollars and get an attorney to draw up a proper release form. There are so many loop holes that could work adversely against you should an unfortunate incident happen.
I am a legal secretary, and trust me when I tell you, if they want to sue you, they will, finding some sort of reason why the release was not binding. The more legally correct the release is, the better your chances are of winning such a claim against you.
